I am a design researcher, strategist and educator guided by an interest in the leadership role of design beyond products and services, and fostering broader perspectives on growth, economy and innovation for the betterment of society. I help organizations work effectively across disciplines and geographies, and develop people and teams oriented toward human-centred collaborative practices and openness to experimentation. Having worked in software development with IBM for over 15 years, I bring a depth of knowledge and practice in designing for new technologies and large-scale complex projects. Recent professional activities have led beyond private enterprise to include collaboration and consulting with senior leaders in the public sector and non-profit to help their organizations navigate change and enable innovation.
